THE BIWPA SUMMER CUP TOURNAMENT
The tournament will take place in Lloret de Mar, one of the most popular Costa Brava beaches.
The Costa Brava is a coastal region of Catalonia in northeastern Spain. It is known for its beautiful beaches, vibrant nightlife, and rich history.
The tournament welcomes teams from across the globe, and it is open to both men's and women's U16 (Born 2009) teams.
This event will take centre stage from 27 - 29 June 2025 over the course of 3 action packed days at Piscina de Lloret in Spain.
This Elevate Tour will be combined with a 4 day high performance training camp with Barcelona International Water Polo Academy (BIWPA) in Barcelona before the tournament.
BIWPA Summer Cup Tour selection process
The BIWPA Summer Cup Tour is a performance based tour with the goal to compete with some of the top clubs in Europe and the USA. The Elevate selection team will be at IPT 2024 scouting for talented players at the Men and Women U15 age groups (born in 2009) to select a squad that will participate in this tournament and tour.
Selection Criteria:
Player must be born in 2009
We will take a men's U16 and women's U16 team
Player performance at IPT 2025
Commitment to the full Tour preparation program
Frequent check in with the Elevate Team with regards to individual player strength and conditioning program

The tour will start off with 4 day Training Camp on arrival at the BIWPA Academy in Barcelona and then will move on to the BIWPA Summer Cup Tournament in Lloret De Mar.
